When I was in sixth class in St. Patrick's, I was taught by a kindly man called Brother Cassian- also known as "The Duck" because, apparently, he would only go out for walks when it was raining! He taught us a very nostalgic poem called "Meananeary", of which I can now recall only one line: In Meenaneary in the County of Mayo.
