I'm sure everyone reading these pages wonders from time to time what became of certain families and individuals who lived in Castlebar in the good old times. I'd like to start the ball rolling by inquiring about the Darcy family. There were two boys who were in school around my time - Paul and John and two of the finest footballers they were too! What became of them? Did they pursue football after leaving the town? Anybody out there with information?
