I dont know of any people of the name Byrnes in these parts but you have the same name as a very famous fiddler from East Galway. Martin Byrnes the fiddler has been dead now for some years. He came from East Galway - around Ahascragh near Ballinasloe, I think. I wish you luck in your search Martin!
