I was thinking later on about Tommy O'Brien when he played with Stephen Garvey. Could have stayed in McGreals, McHale Road,not too sure, a long time ago. Married, as far as I can remember, a girl named Betty O'Malley, whose brother Jack had a barber shop along where Ducksie Mitchell's shop was in Castle Street. George Wolfe, a German, married Breege Collins, aunt of Tommy Collins, Auctioneer, a member of an old Castlebar musical family. Tommy's grandfather, chairman of Castlebar Urban Council, was a famous piccolo player and broadcast regularly from Radio Eireann.
