Happy Christmas to all our nostalgia board correspondents and lots of luck and good health in the coming year.
I have been very busy with the day job over the past few weeks to get active on the board, but intend to recharge the batteries over the Christmas period and get back into it in early January.
JDP rekindled the memories talking about the Waits. It is one part of Christmas that I will never forget. "Good morning Mr. & Mrs..... and all the little.....on this cold and frosty morning and a very happy Christmas to everyone" and the sound of the accordion in the dead of night...sheer magic!
Sorry Murrisk, you must have lived too far out the Westport Road for the Waits to walk and probably the same for Butch and Magnolia Mary.
Anyway, best wishes to Murisk,Butch, Magnolia Mary, JDP, UP THE PEARSES, and all the gang.
JDP if you travel West over the holiday period, please give me a call and we'll meet up.
