I spoke with my mom this a.m. and we recalled past
christmas dinners when we were all together. Turkey,
ham, roast and mashed potatoes, bread sauce, gravey
for those who did not like the bread sauce, a variety
of veggies. Plum pudding, sherry trifle for those who
did not like the plum pud (myself included). A feast
to behold. Dad and the two brothers always washed the
dishes on christmas day. It was a day spent together
as a family lazing around, singing, watching TV, no one
rushing to go anywhere and all the time to do it.
Ahh - those were the days.
