Theres a mention of Fr John Meehan as being in Castlebar from 1909-1920 in Through Fagans Gates.Also mentioned as one of the curates directing the various Sodalities and Societies for a processional march to meet the remains of Canon Lyons off the funeral train in 1911,page 174
