Anton Condon's productions in the Town Hall starring Henry Downes, Tom Mac Greal, ??Dennings (a great singer) and a host of others.
" Indercella and the Three Sigley Uglers". The main hall, dimmed lights, gold painted designs on the walls, a musky heavy smell,
an excited/expectant air everywhere, the red or green (?) velvet stage curtains, the band space below the stage, steps up to the
stage on either side, the stage lighting, an alcove to the right hand side (special seating or the ba r??). Upstairs in the Makeup
department - lights, buckets of Pond's cold cream, powder, hairspray, lipsticks, makeup mirrors, lights. people rushing around
crazily, costumes everywhere - a wonderland for any child. How do I know ? I was a 10 year old fairy !!
