Who remembers,or can shed some light on the visit to Castlebar, of the "Baron of Broadway".
I saw him arrive for Sunday Mass in a large american limo flying Irish and American flags. As I recall he was about four foot tall,rotund,wore a top hat and a morning suit. He claimed that he was going to purchase Northern Ireland with his vast fortune;which I think did not exist.
