Dunno about Yer Man but I remember when there were loads of Cranes and scrap stuff in the football field among the trees which we used play on during the Breaffy Sports and we'd search among them for Old Coke and Fanta bottles that we could bring over to Heneghans for the refund to buy Milk Teeth and Curly Wurley's and Silvermints and Lilt and Fizzbombs.
Also remember the day that they dynamited the rock to make the pits for Heneghans Garage and the day that the machines started knocking down the trees to clear the site where Kharns house is. I must've been only about 5 at the time.
Finally I think I was only maybe four when the Ditches in Front of my house making up Four Fields were bulldozed by Jennings to make one big field , That was the time hen Sweeney's and Morans were still there. I don't think I had the courage to venture into either of them till I was about 8
