Festival of the Senses

Hundreds of artistes from all over the world take part in the Castlebar Bank Holiday Weekend Extravaganza "Celebration of the Senses" from 23th to 26th October 1998.
Bigger than ever this year, embassies from countries all around the world are participating in this year's events which offer a sense of different cultures through dance, music, art, food, drama and film for all ages.
The highlights include a taste extravaganza with food samples from all over the world (Linenhall, Sunday 1 to 5 pm). Kids events include edible sculpture and story telling.
The Festival is to be launched on Friday 23th October and Castlebar then heads into a weekend of fun and frolics.
