Bangor Hibs new record.

Brian McHale of Bangor Hibs, scored his 2nd hat-trick in two weeks for Bangor Hibs when they defeated Ballyglass 4-3.All the goals were from direct kicks.

He also created a new record for himself and the Club, by bringing his goal scoring tally to 122 goals whilst playing for Bangor. He over took Jimmy Flannery's total of 119 goals for the club. Jimmy was the first person to offer his congratulations to Brian, Some achievment, I think you will agree.


 

Connaught FA AGM

16th May at 8pm

The Connaught Football Association will hold there AGM in the Southern Hotel Sligo. The meeting will commence at 8pm and all clubs are invited to attend.

For the first time ever, clubs will be notified of the meeting by E-Mail.



Vote of Sympathy

The Mayo Association Football League have extended a vote of sympathy to Tom Gillespie, and his family on the tragic death of their son Colin.

Tom Gillespie is the well known Editor of the Connaught Telegraph.
