Mayo Youth Players Selected

Four Mayo Youth Players, have been picked for U18 and U15 Republic of Ireland squads for forthcoming games.

John Mountney, Conor Byrne, and Conor O'Malley are in the squad to Play against Wales in Wales on the 3rd August.

Liam Flatley has been chosen for the Republic of Ireland U15 Development Squad, who will play in Galway in August in the Umbro Galway Cup.

It should be also recorded, that all these players have come through The Football Association of Ireland Emerging Talent programme that has been taking place in Milebush Park for the last number of years.

Death of Dick Henry

The Mayo Association Football League, have extended there sympathy to Urlaur Utd on the sudden death of Dick Henry.

Dick was a devoted supporter with Urlaur Utd for long and many a year, and indeed was the club's linesman for both Junior and youth games. A minute's silence was held as a mark of respect, before the Tonra Cup Final in Milebush, in which his beloved team went on to win the Cup. Their captain, Tim Moriarity, dedicated their win to Dick after the game. May Dick, Rest in Peace.
