Women In Sport Seminar Photos

Olympians Sonia O’Sullivan and Olive Loughnane led out a strong team of sportswomen at a special seminar to explore womens’ participation and equality in sport / physical activity.

The Seminar, called Women in Sport – Are we gaining Ground? took place on Friday, May 3rd, in the GMIT Castlebar.

Current Mayo Ladies GAA player Cora Staunton, Irish Womens Rugby International Carol Staunton and Special Olympic athlete Bridget Walsh also attended.

The seminar is one of the key events during the Castlebar Festival of Sport Weekend which is taking place this weekend (3rd – 5th May).
