St. Gerald's College

St. Gerald's College is a boys secondary school run by the De La Salle Brothers who have now been teaching in Castlebar for over one hundred years. St. Gerald's boasts an excellent academic record in the Leaving Certificate and in addition to traditional academic subjects it has an excellent Transition Year programme, a well equipped computer room with over 20 computers with Autocad and even a CNC router for engineering and construction studies. Their prowess on the Gaelic Football field is also legendary.
