To Promote the Chamber
It is the responsibility of the Chamber to promote the Castlebar Chamber, and the Chamber network as a whole, so as to ensure understanding of the mission of the Chamber movement and the power of the movement in Economics on the world stage.
To Lead
It is the responsibility of the Chamber to take the lead in driving acceptance of new business practice and the development of emerging technologies for the greater good of the Business Community at large.
To Grow
It is the responsibility of the Chamber to maximise its membership and to avail of all opportunities to increase its revenue earning potential, thus ensuring its viability and that can meet its long-term goals.
To Represent
It is the responsibility of the Chamber to represent the views of its members on all relevant local and national issues. To participate where possible in forming local and national Government policy relating to economic and social development.
To Encourage
It is the responsibility of the Chamber to encourage the community of the town to participate actively in the social and economic development of the town, thus ensuring a palpable sense of civic pride amongst its citizens.
To Train
It is the responsibility of the Chamber to provide training to its members where a need has been identified that is not otherwise catered for by the state agencies or the local commercial enterprises.
