Congratulations to the 4 Days Walks Committee for another very successful festival.

We are currently carrying out a business survey and we would appreciate it if you would take the 5 minutes required for this. Copies will be delivered to your premises and it can also be downloaded from our website www.castlebar.ie/ccc

Thank you to everyone that participated in both the E-commerce and Labour Force 2000 national surveys. The results of both are now available in the office. We also have local comparison figures. If you would like a copy please let us know.

There are still positions available on our Student Summer Job Scheme so if you know any third level student with the relevant cert. please let us know.

Have you visited our Community Access Centre yet? Remember its free Internet access and e-mail service for everyone - local and visitors. This is a unique facility nationally.

Remember, from September we will be running training courses. If you want any areas in particular covered please contact us and we will try and facilitate this.
Forthcoming courses included: Prism (Internet Marketing Strategy) run by the Chamber of Commerce "Human Resource Recruitment and Management Training Programme" run by the Co. Enterprise board. "Retail Buying Management & Selling Skills" run by Bourke College in conjunction with the Chamber of Commerce.

We are currently looking at some affinity deals for our members. Further details will be available over the coming months.

The business directory is currently being updated on the website, please check that your information is correct.
