If local manufacturers/retailers advertise on Castlebar.ie they should offer alternative methods of payment than merely credit cards. Many people are still paranoid about using their credit cards online (or simply don't have credit cards) there should be "Printer friendly" order forms provided as well along with a postal address for cheque/bank draft payments. When the euro is introduced next year it should be easier to do business in this manner

You are right some people either don't have credit cards or are reluctant to use them on line. Our profiling has shown that 64% of the visitors to www.castlebar.ie have already purchased online. Printer friendly order forms would be a clever alternative or addition to the acceptance of credit cards for payment over the Internet.
