We are extremely fortunate to have a beautiful Aistear Room in Breaffy N.S. The Infant Classes particularly benefit from having access to this room. This term we are focusing on "The Farm" as our theme. We have 4 stations in our Aistear room, a rough art station, a conversation station, a construction station and a mini world station. Making Buns! Senior Infants made some rice crispie buns on Oct. 24th, 2013
The children enjoyed using the kitchen and the teachers were all very happy to sample the lovely treats.

Team Teaching in Senior Infants, 2013-2014 Team Teaching and In Class support are well established in both Senior Infant Classes. The children benefit from working in small groups to explore literacy and numeracy themes. In these pictures the children are exploring pattern, sorting and classifying. One group is using our school laptops to practice and consolidate numeracy concepts.
