School Art Gallery

At St. Aidan's N.S. art lessons form an essential part of the children's education. A broad-based and balanced programme is provided in each class ensuring that the children experience making art as well as looking at and resonding to art. Our school policy is to display the children's work whereever space is available within the school. Consequently we are proud of our long corridors and classroom walls lined with wonderful displays of children's work from Junior Infants to Sixth Class. It is evident from the numerous compositions that every child is being helped to develop sensitivity to qualities of line, shape, form, colour and tone, texture, pattern and rhythm and spatial organisation.
