Our Trees Project
The trees we based our projects on were the Ash, Alder, Sycamore, Horse-chestnut, Poplar and Birch
We contacted leaves. We did bark rubbings and we found interesting facts about each type of tree .We drew pictures of the trees. The poplar in our school is forty years old. The only tree that hurleys are made out of is the ash. Trees breathe in carbon dioxide and breathe out oxygen.
This cycle is the other way around for animals and humans. Lots of furniture is made out of wood as well.
Paper is made out of ground up wood. Kitchen chairs and tables are made out of wood as well.
