Hi From Second Class 2007

We went on a Nature Walk

There are still lots of GREEN leaves on the trees.	We saw lots of FUSHIA	We found BLACKBERRIES on the Brambles
Look at all the HAWS on the Hawthorn	There were ROWAN BERRIES on the Ash	We went for a Nature walk around the school and found lots of interesting trees and plants that are in our school books.

We had great fun making Musical Instruments


	We Recycled - boxes, butter boxes, sandpaper, straws, rice, sticks, spoons, rubber bands and balloons to make Musical Instruments.

My Favourite Sport

My favourite sport is soccer.
I play it at school and at home sometimes.
I like it because it is fun and you can score goals.
And I think I will be joining Castlebar Mitchell's in the summer to play Gaelic football.
I support Manchester United

My favourite sport is swimming.
I go to swimming lessons every Tuesday night for half an hour.
Sometimes we have to swim lengths.
You can swim any stroke you want.
I can swim every stroke.
We also go swimming with the school
We go on the bus.

Stranded on a Desert Island

I was on a ship and it crashed into another ship and sank. I swam to the island. There were coconuts on the island. I made a hut from wood and leaves. When I was thirsty I drank the milk from the coconuts and when I was hungry I made a spear and went fishing in the water around the island. After a few days I saw a ship and I was rescued.

Recipe

When I am older I would like to be a wood work teacher. I would like to be a wood work teacher because I like playing with wood and I know a lot about wood.

My dad is a wood work teacher and he made a box and I like it and now I can make lots of things out of wood.

Ingredients

1. 1 Slice of vanilla ice-cream.

2. A 1/2 of a banana.

3. 1.5 cups of milk.

Use an electric mixer to mix all the ingredients together.
