The annual Bring and Buy was held on Thursday 27th of October. This fund raising actvity is organised by the 6th class girls and their teachers. An enormous amount of work was put into this project -both in the 3/4 weeks prior to the actual bring and buy day and on the day itself. Cake sales have been held on Fridays during October - all the cakes, rice crispie buns, etc, being made by the girls themselves. Tickets for the raffle were on sale every day for two weeks prior to the big day. Entries for the colouring competition were collected each day too. A new competition being run this year was a "Guess the Baby" competition featuring the teachers and staff! Children brought in their unwanted toys and books for the "BIG" sale on Thursday. Here are some of many activities that took place on the day.
The money raised will be given to various charities, at home and in the Third World. |
