The girls in many classes were busy today making St. Brigid's crosses.It is lovely to see this wonderful tradition being kept alive by our children.The making of these crosses from rushes is a skilful art and is made easier by co-operation as seen in the photos below.We thank Fr. Michael for coming to the school in the afternoon to bless the crosses before the girls brought them home. |
