Knitting
for Oxfam
The traditional
craft of knitting is very important in the education of the girls in Scoil
Naomh Aingeal. Below are a group of girls from the present 5th classes
who knitted children's jumpers for Oxfam. The girls knitted the jumpers
while in 4th class last year. A lot of time and effort went into this
work and the end product portrays the wonderful creativity and imagination
of the girls.They are joined by Catherine from the local Oxfam shop who
came to the school recently to accept the jumpers on behalf of the organisation.
