Emperor penguins

Meet the world’s biggest penguin. This Antarctic resident stands at 40 inches tall and weighs in 40kg or more. The Emperor penguin derives its name not solely from its stature: another possible explanation is the fact that it is the only penguin species are merely visitors.
The emperor likes pack ice and never ventures onto land. It also never nests but uses its warm body to incubate its single egg during the breading seasons. Most penguins feed on krill the tiny shrimp like crustaceans that inhabit the Southern Ocean but the Emperor prefers a diet of fish, squid and larger crusteacens.
