What are wombats?

Wombats are marsupials from Australia . They are three feet long in size .They are muscular quadrupeds. They have short legs.
The name Wombat comes from the Eora Aboriginal. The Wombat has a hard back that protects them in fights. But when a car comes the Wombat thinks its can protect him or her. Wombats are close family with the koala. Wombats look hairy and have big noses. Wombats eat corn and grass even ice cream cones.
