Kangaroo

Kangaroos rest in the heat of the day. They dig shallow holes under trees and they lie in the cool sand. When the joeys are about a year old they don’t need Mums milk anymore. But they stay close to her as they still have a lot to learn. Kangaroos eat during the evening because they are nocturnal animals. When the heat is too much they have a spit bath by licking themselves.
