Time and time again it has been proven that when British radio stations ban a record it inevitably gets to number one. When will these eejits ever cop on. They could have just quietly neglected to put the song on their playlist and nobody would have been any the wiser but when they announced that it was banned then everyone (myself included) wanted to hear the damn thing. As for the song itself while I wouldnt describe it as a masterpiece Ive seen a lot worse get to number one. (Incidently Isint BBC radio 2 supposed to be for the "older listener" Are they not playing it ?)
