It's official, It's is now officially Christmas in Castlebar. The town henchmen (opps sorry Pullatitions) turned on our lovely (?) Christmas lights tonight. Yip Pee!!!!
Sadly after their wind night, (Castle Street Traders BIG night out, pictures to follow) some not finishing till 7:00 this morning, the workers in Castle Street could not muster enough power to turn their lights on, but as they are the sadist lights in town no loss there. There would be a great opening for some arty person to design a good lighting set up. The shape of the street makes it ideal for some imaginative display.
2fm are going to be rocking the TF on Friday night. Anyone who thought that the etown debate was a bit OTT I recommend checking it out. Lookout for the rattling jaws.
On other fronts the Knigsbridge makeover is still ticking along. They have a really eye catching red wave painted on the side of it, directing your gaze to the rear door, and it works!!!
And for all of the spelling police out there I got a present (from someone on the BB) of a Dictionary!!! So hopefully not to many mistakes or typos.
