My belief is that one would pass. I was brethalized in the UK a few years ago at 3am after about 4 pints and a whiskey (left pub at 12 midnight) and I passed (But the experience of being pulled scared me into complete sobriety in any case and to this day I honestly don't know if the machine was faulty - The one with the Green and red light, but perhaps it really was and this idea of three pint sin three hours is entirely true)
