Leaving the Married women and two-income families aside was everything else about this Budget OK? If one is to judge by the deafening silence it would seem so! Were percentage increases ever just? What did the earner of IR£8000pa or IR£10000pa gain from this budget; should they be jumping for joy as Charlie McCreevy (and Fianna Fail) would seem to think? When they go to the shop or to pay their Mortgages will there be a corresponding downward adjustment in their bills? I shouldn't think so!!
