But it's not a question of housewives being chattels of their husbands, it is a question of what do we value in society.
We have always said that the family structure is a very important component in a stable society. That is why the tax system up to now has given it special status.
Now we are saying that the individual is more important. Is this good for society? Is this what we want? As far as I can see it is unconstitutional.
On the second point, If we want to fix the labor shortage why don't we stop attracting foreign investment. We still have unemployment in other areas than those favoured by foreign investment. I guess we still have this culture of job creation where factory openings make the news.
