Really I don’t see what you are making a big fuss about.
First you are saying the proposed budget is unconstitutional.
How is it so, ? what article(s) is it in violation of. ? The Budget does not have the force of law or is not a government action, therefore it cannot be declared by the High Court as ‘unconstitutional’.
The Finance Act 2000 will have the force of law and as such may be open to challenge. Are you saying that the Finance Act 2000 will be unconstitutional. ? On what ground(s). ?
Second you say the budget is anti-family.
What do you mean by a family, ? is it the two parents with the 2.4 children we all hear about from John Bruton. ?
Well, Irish family life is a lot more diverse than the model outlined above.
