Good to see you back Rose! The Friday Club cartoon is finished for the moment, unfortunately. But remember that it is always open to others to provide us with a new cartoon strip! We can scan original drawings and turn them into web pages if necessary.
Indeed we were also promised a web page of memories about the famous Castlebar 'pop festivals' of the early 1980s recently - we would really like to put these up on the site. Someone has a copy of the aerial photo of the town showing all the tents on the Mall.
In fact we are always looking for new material folks! (If you provide us with information in Word files or as jpgs gifs/etc. we can put it into web pages for you if you are not too confident about coding HTML yourself). This applies to anything that might be of interest to the motely crew that surfs through the Castlebar domain.
Material can be e-mailed to info@castlebar.ie. If you have photos or drawings they may be handed in at the Chamber of Commerce Offices, Spencer Street for attention of Castlebar Webmaster. We will look after photos or graphics and return them safely. While we won't guarantee to put you material on the castlebar site, we are very keen to obtain new material of interest to people in Castlebar.
