Is that of all time of of the year or of the 90's Rose. I'm sad to say I haven't read many book in the last year except "For Dummies" computer books.
But I'm reading "Under the Tuscan Sun" by Frances Mayes at the minute. I'm also reading one of my all time favorites (for the 4th time) "The Prince of Tides" by Pat Conroy. Dante's "Inferno" is actually one hell (excuse the pun) of a good read. My saga (on the road book - ala The English Patient's Herodites) is JM Robert's "History of the World".
Best Irish book's Colm McCanns "Songdogs" or the one about Treefrog in the NY tunnels ("Into the Light?") and this year's anthology of New Irish Writers was brill. Can't think of the name of it at the min but I'll let ye know.
