So Bertie thinks that it was an "excellent budget" and Mary wont "be lectured to by people who supported the Tax-Amnesty". The arrogance (and stupidity) of this Government is growing with every day that passes. When I had a job (I am now redundant) I was often disappointed but never provoked to such anger as I feel this time 'round. Do those people not realise that percentage increases can never be just (10% of £100 is £10 but 10% of "nothing" is still "nothing". The silence of the media, as well as the politicians, is deafening with regard to this issue. Clearly they are not amongst the ranks of the lower paid; if it were otherwise by God they'd have been a lot more vociferous on the matter.
