Nothing against Audrey personally, but does anyone else suspect that part of the motivation or justification of this was the sheer arrogance of belonging to a local political dynasty and figuring "sure the Flynns can do anything, who'd DARE to pull us up on anything", Same kind of arrogance that's even more evident in her sister and father. Being a public servant or a politicial representative doesn't and shouldn't put you above the law applicable to the mere mortal peasants over whom you rule.
