well while they werent exactly up to 5 star hotel standards there were and are a lot worse around. But wasnt it the UDC's fault that they got into this state in the first place ? OK there was a certain amount of vandalisim too but I think if we adopted the Malasyian approach to dealing with such gurrierisim (see my posting above RE: Seans car) that problem would be resolved too. Besides what do tourists think when they visit a town with no public toilet ? and what about people with medical problems of one sort or another which require regular trips to the jax how are they supposed to spend a day in Castlebar ?
