A spokesman for the rebels today strongly refuted suggestions of any paramilatary involvement in herbal trafficking across the Neiphin range.
Meanwhile political analysts have speculated that a breakaway faction of hardliners may be involved. Its thought they are dissatisfied with the slow pace of progress along the main Glenhest to Newport road which has been impassable since a branch fell across it some weeks ago.
