Blues Festival Meeting
This summer Castlebar will again host the longest running Blues Festival in Ireland. It promises to be a great weekend, in addition to Status Quo playing on the Sunday night in the Royal Theatre, Castlebar will be rockin'.

Now more than ever we need events like these to keep our customers in Castlebar and to attract as many outside visitors as possible, not forgetting the magic that is created by the excellent acts that perform in our town. Any festival has a direct and indirect spin-off to practically all business, be it before, during, or indeed weeks after the festival.

However our main sponsorship has reduced year on year, and it makes running this year's festival extremely difficult. Because of this we are calling on all vested interests to attend a meeting on Wednesday, 24th February, 8pm, Royal Hotel, to discuss the festival and its development.
