Photos show participants in a sponsored walk which took place in Castlebar, Co. Mayo on Saturday 10 July 2004 to raise funds for the Bring Them Home Campaign and to highlight the current situation of the three men, Niall Connolly, Martin Mc Cauley and Jim Monaghan in Colombia. After the walk, there was music, food and craic in Rowland’s Bar, Main St. Castlebar. Music was provided by Joe Carey and the O'Mongain family from Geesala and Doohoma. A draw was held and prizes included paintings painted by Jim Monaghan in ‘La Modelo’ prison the weekend prior to their release, personal CDs from the prison signed by the three men, crafts from Colombia etc. The walk has raised between three and four thousand euros.
