Pop4, TG4's weekly interactive chart music show begins its annual trek around the country for the summer again this year, in the guise of Pop4 an tSamhraidh. The 1 hour show, presented by Roisín Ní Thomáin, will visit the 4 corners of Ireland over the course of the summer starting out filming in Europe's Capital of Culture 2005, Cork, on Friday May 27th.
Not only will Pop4 an tSamhraidh cover the best local music acts in Castlebar, Westport and around the Country over the course of the summer, we'll also feature local celebrities, characters and fun items. The more unusual the better!! If you have, or if you know somebody who has an interesting or wacky hobby, talent, party trick or pet even!!; or maybe won interesting awards, has unusual achievements , or is just plain unique and would be suitable for a couple of minutes of television, get in touch with the Pop4 production crew at 01 6612244 or mail us at

Pop4 an tSamhraidh is also happy to feature young Gaeilgoirí who are up for a bit of craic, who want to say hello to their family and friends, or request a music video on camera. Who knows, you could be the next TV star!! Pop4 are recording in Castlebar and Westport on 22 July 2005.
