It was reported in the news this week that Calvin Klein are supposed to be making a TV advert for one of their fragrances back on Silver Strand, beyond Louisburg.

The beach is without doubt one of Mayo's finest and although it's a bit of a trek to get there (down long windy twisty roads) it really is worth the trip.

I can see why someone would choose such a location for one of those 'sensual' adverts for perfume or aftershave - you know the type of advert well - fantastic scenery with manly, chiselled male models and scantily clad supermodels rolling around in the surf (all in B&W or Grey n White of course).

It set me to thinking . . . what other beautiful locations in the West could we use to advertise products . . . here's my contribution (apologies to Sean Smyth & Noel O'Neill for the plagiarism).
