Excitement is mounting now with the imminent play-off stages of the league having been reached. From now on every game is a cup final and supporters are asked once again to give every assistance to the team
Mitchels U-8s
There was a very exciting final round to the Town League last Saturday. McHales overcame Davitts by 13 points to 10 points. McHales were the stronger team but the Davitts showed that they are a team that has improved with every game. Emmetts defeated Pearses by 10 points to 7 in a game of two very different halves. Emmetts lead 9 - nil at half time but to their credit Pearses scored 7 points on the trot but had left to much to overcome and Emmetts sealed victory with a late point.

Emmetts 5
McHales 3
Pearses 3
Davitts 1.
So the final line up for Saturday the 19th is Pearses V Davitts at 10 am and Emmetts V McHales at 10.40 am.

Players are requested to be in McHale Park early so games can start on time and to all wear a warm top to allow them to watch the other game and medal presentation will be held at 11.15 am. Parents and other club members are asked to support these finals as to date these matches have proved to be very entertaining.
