I think the title speaks for itself don't you? We had more gems than the Easter bunny on a rather funny day. We had the rain last weekend. And the muck but we also had Mayo winning the FBD League (what do you think that means?....answer on a postcard please). We had that whopper of a game between Celtic and Westport United. And I mean that was a whopper. Including the fact that the celebrations went on for an age but for good reason. It's all down to May 8th and Milebush to see if they can do it and bring the Connacht Cup home. We will have to wait and see. And I must not forget the wonders of Kilmeena who took another Connacht title at the weekend. Well done to one and all. And If I may congratulate Johnny Mee for his spot on report on Sunday. And Ballinrobe are into the Connacht Rugby Semi final which brings me on nicely.....

This weekend is one of those that it is impossible where to start. But if I must it has to be with rugby and the game that we have all being waiting for. Corinthians taking on Castlebar in the Connacht Junior Cup quarter final. Now some of you will remember last year and the league semi-final that Corinthians won. It really P...(I wont I promise) me off. But the chance has now grown for revenge. And boy I can't wait. Castlebar are firing right now and could just do it. And what better a reward than Ballinrobe in the semi-final. But that’s not all. There is a full fixture list in gaelic games, soccer and all other sports and believe me when I say that you will not be disappointed - now all we need is the weather. As always stay tuned to Local press for details and if you are online on Sunday we will have all the results and stories here on
