The coming of the Spirit electrified the apostles and their friends and they went out with courage and faith to proclaim Jesus to the world. The Spirit has come to most of us and he is with us in our lives. We renew our faith and courage today in bearing witness to Christ in our daily lives. We ask the Spirit to guide us in our decisions and grant us wisdom and peace in this often confusing world. This weekend 215 of our young people will be confirmed. We pray especially for them today that the Holy Spirit will give them the courage and wisdom to make the right choices for the future.
