Novena and Chaplet of Divine Mercy will take place in the Parish Church at 4p.m., starting on Good Friday for 9 days, ending with Rosary each day.

 

No Prayer Group meeting next Wednesday night.

ANOINTING MASS

On Tuesday at 7.30p.m. in the Parish Church, there will be a special Mass for the elderly and the sick.  The Mass will include the sacrament of anointing.

 
 
PRIESTS’ COLLECTION

The Easter collection for the priests of the parish will be taken up at all Masses next Sunday.  We would ask all wage earners to contribute.  We thank you for your continued support and generosity.

 

 

BLESSING OF OILS IN TUAM CATHEDRAL   The holy oils used for baptism, confirmation and the anointing of the sick are blessed at a special Mass in Tuam Cathedral on Holy Thursday at 10a.m.  All are welcome to attend this ceremony.

 

 

 

Stations of the Cross in the Parish Church today at 7p.m.

 

 

EXPOSITION OF THE BLESSED SACRAMENT will finish at 4p.m. on Holy Thursday.  There will be no exposition on Good Friday or Holy Saturday.

 

 

 

EASTER VIGIL

HOLY SATURDAY NIGHT

For centuries Christians everywhere attended this great vigil.  We make a special appeal to all to come and celebrate this great high point of our faith – Holy Saturday night at 9p.m.

The following is the Christian View Schedule for Community Radio Castlebar (102.9 fm):

7p.m. – live Mass from the Church of the Holy Rosary.  The Mass of the Lord’s last supper.

·        Good Friday

3p.m.   - Stations of the Cross

7p.m. - Celebration of the Lord’s Passion live from the Church of the Holy Rosary.

·        Easter Sunday

11a.m. – 12 noon: dramatisation of the Easter readings.
