By the time we got to the Imperial Depot were taking a break in the Imperial - their double bass lay on the floor while the band had a well-earned drink.
Depot are a 3- piece acoustic blues band - a raw, 'front porch on a hot night' feel, this is blues with a very authentic, old style feel but with the inclusion of a flute, with a modern twist. Depot are soon to be featured on a compilation CD courtesy of 'Blues in Britain ' magazine. Featuring: Mat Walklate - vocals / whistles / harmonicas / flutes, Anthony Haller - double bass and Andy Pyatt - guitar.
