Castlebar Parish Church always has a wonderful Crib at Christmas time. Christmas 2000 is no different. Click on any of the photos to view an enlarged image.

Up to Christmas Day the crib is empty. Mary, Joseph and the shepherds await the birth of Christ.

At the Vigil Mass for Christmas Day the Baby Jesus is placed in the crib.

The cow, donkey and sheep are almost lifelike.

The Wise Men will appear on the 6th of January.
